Profile of GIML President Jennifer Bailey

Jennifer Bailey is a music specialist for Farmington Public Schools in Farmington, Michigan. She has twelve years experience teaching elementary general and early childhood music. She is also program director of “Little Music Makers,” an early childhood music program for children birth to age five.

Jennifer received her undergraduate education from Michigan State University in flute performance, teacher certification from the University of Houston, and master degree in music education from Temple University.

Jennifer is author of Sing-to-Kids Songbooks, and co-author of Jump Right In: Elementary General Music Series, Kindergarten and Grade 5 (G.I.A. Publications). She serves as a faculty member for the Gordon Institute for Music Learning in both elementary general music and early childhood music. Jennifer is a frequent presenter at state and regional music education conferences.
