GIML Conference 2011: Preliminary Schedule Details (Subject to change)
Conference registration will be held from 12:30-3:30 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
There will be an opening conference meeting at 3:30, after which, Dr. Gordon will be presenting the opening keynote address at 4:00 pm.
Session I will commence at 4:45 with three concurrent sessions.
An evening social reception for all attendees (6:30 - 9:00 pm) will follow at the home of Alec Harris, GIA Publications' CEO, just a few blocks' walk from the conference hotel.
Breakfast on Wednesday is included in the conference fee.
Concurrent sessions and exhibits will run throughout the day (9:00 - 6:00).
Lunch is on your own.
The evening banquet is included in the conference fee, and will feature a video presentation on "Audiation for a Lifetime of Music" as well as a Jazz Combo for dinner entertainment and dancing.
Thursday's breakfast is on your own.
Thursday's lunch is included in the conference fee.
Concurrent sessions and exhibits will run from 8:00 - 4:00.
Closing ceremony will be held from 3:00-4:00 on Thursday.
